Pic of the Month August 2016

This month's winner is from Jean Marie for the beautiful mix of brass and steel he has captured in his photo. Since the very early days of Golden Greek these two metals have been a popular choice with collectors and it's easy to see why.

Congrats to Jean Marie who wins 10% off his next GG order at selected GG suppliers. On a side note there were only 5 pictures posted for August so the competition was really close this month. So close that I spent a long time thinking if I should even do a Pic of the Month, hence the lateness again this month.

Anyway for your chance to win don't forget to post your GG pictures in the GG Pictures Thread over on ECF.

Pic of the Month July 2016

Almost forgot again to pick a winner for Pic of the Month but here I am just in time! This month's winner was a tricky one. Everyone posted great pictures that were absolutely fantastic. I could easily have picked any one of the photos as a winner. However the picture that caught my eye was the one below by Keighles.

I'm going on holiday soon and the sight of a GG by the pool in the sunshine has me itching to get packed and flying away so I can enjoy the same. It's a great combination too, Proteus and Penelope are perfect together and look stunning in this photo.

Congrats to Keighles who wins a 10% discount off his next GG purcahse at selected GG stores. Don't forget for your chance to win Pic of the Month post your GG pictures in the GG Picture Thread over on ECF.

Thanks again to Keighles and everyone else who posted photos!

Pic of the Month June 2016

There wasn't a huge selection of entries to choose from for June but one picture stood out for me. I think it is the combination of the GG with the natural rock and polished finish on both. It all seems to go together very nicely, what do you think?

The picture is by leemc37 who wins a 10% discount off his next GG purchase at selected GG shops. Remember for your chance to win just post a pic of your GG in the GG Pictures Thread.

Congrats to leemc37 and thanks for sharing a cool picture!

Pic of the Month May 2016

This months Pic of the Month was, in one way, another easy pick for me. With the release of Cybrillion I knew I was going to choose a picture that featured the new GG mod. All I had to do was see which picture I thought best illustrated the newest member of the GG family in all it's glory. That picture comes from forum member vodja.

A great picture, showing a GG where it should be, in the hand and in use. I like how it shows the scale of Cybrillion and how nicely it fits in the hand. Coupled with the clear tank it makes a very cool and current looking mod, I am very envious!

Congrats to vodja, he wins a 10% discount off his next GG order from selected GG stores. Remember for your chance to win just post your GG pictures in the GG Picture Thread.

This months winner was an easy pick for a change. As soon as I saw it I knew it had to be the winner, it's such a great picture. I'm not sure what size tank the Tilemahos is but I love it.

It matches perfectly with the mod, a real touch of class. The picture is from forum regular breminator who wins 10% off his next GG order at selected GG stores.

Pic of the Month March 2016

For this months picture there was an incredible list of amazing pictures to choose from as usual. The hard part for me is trying to narrow the choices down. I wish I could give more prizes. Anyway this months winner is this fantastic collection from De woern.

A lot of GG pieces in different finishes showing how classy and high end the GG looks. I'm a big fan of the brass and steel look so this picture really stood out to me. Congrats to De woern, he wins a 10% discount off his next purchase at any GG store. Remember for your chance to win just post your GG pictures in the GG Picture Thread.

Pic of the Month February 2016

Hands in the air time. I totally forgot to do Pic of the Month for February. I have been so busy with lots of little things in the real world that it totally slipped my mind. Anyway here we are and I remembered just in time. This month was another great month for pics and was as hard as ever to pick a winner. I dabbled with the idea of just picking one at random but didn't think that would be fair. In the end I decided on this picture by leemc37. I love the clear tank and the drip tip and also the piece of wood used to prop the GG4S up. It looks like a perfect little set up for a great vape, all day long.

Congrats to Lee who wins a 10% discount off his next purchase at any GG store. Remember for your chance to win just post your GG pictures in the GG Picture Thread.

As usual there were plenty of pictures I could have picked as the winner for December. And as usual it was a hard choice to pick just one but in the end I have decided to go with some GG history and this great picture by Breminator.

I wish I had started collecting GG when these were made, maybe Imeo will produce them again one day. I love how elegant they are as well as the mix of metals. Pure class.

Pic of the Month November 2015

With some family business and Chistmas stuff to sort I completely forgot about Pic of the Month. I am sorry it took me so long to realise but here it is, better late than never. The standard of pictures was really high in November and I could have picked just about any post as a winner. The one I finally decide on is this pic by gekka.

I have no idea how he managed to get this shot but I love it. The wings on the GG with the real wings of the wild bird make an interesting pairing. I could wait a lifetime and never get a shot like this.

Congrats to gekka who wins a 10% discount off his next purchase at any GG store, just in time for Christmas. Remember for your chance to win just post your GG pictures in the GG Picture Thread.

Pic of the Month October 2015

October's Pic of the Month goes to Jean Marie for two reasons. First it's a well taken photograph and secondly, it is an amazing collection showcasing how beautiful the GG addiction can be.

Jean Marie has become a regular poster in the GG Pictures Thread and has made great efforts to upload interesting, high quality photos. That's not to say that other users pictures aren't as good, the standard is always high from everyone that shares their work.

Thanks to Jean Marie and to all the other users who post pictures every month. I just wish I had more prizes to give out as there are so many great pictures I could choose each month.

Pic of the Month September 2015

This months winner was an easy pick for me, as soon as I saw it I knew it would be a worthy winner. It is from breminator and features the GG Supernano and an aluminium GGTB. Both classic GG pieces that are as cool now as when they were first released.

The Supernano I especially love with it's rounded caps and that old style button. A real piece of GG history that makes me green with envy! A great pair of GG's and a really nice picture too.

Congrats to breminator who wins 10% discount off his next GG purchase. Remember for your chance at internet stardom (and a sweet GG discount too) post your GG pictures in the GG Picture Thread.

Pic of the Month August 2015

This months winner is a great picture featuring the three base elements to a happy life; food, drink and a vape! The photo is from 'notarobot' who obviously appreciates the finer things in life. I like the way the Austrian mountains in the distance appear in the glass of beer. The food also looks very tasty, the perfect prelude to a nice vape on that GG4S.

As always, notarobot wins a 10% off his next GG order. Congratulations to him and remember for your chance to win a discount post your GG pictures HERE.

Pic of the Month July 2015

I am very late in posting July's winner for Pic of the Month. I have been ultra busy in the real world and have only just got round to selecting a winner. The quality of pictures for July was as high as ever with some excellent photos being posted. I have managed to pick my favourite which is this one.

I have chosen this as a winner for the pure bling factor. A lovely little collection of GG's in perfect condition, the combination of brass and steel looks fantastic. The picture is by Neocarpediem who wins a 10% discount at the GG seller of his choice. Congrats to Neocarpediem and remember if you want to win Pic of the Month and a 10% discount off your next GG order post your GG's HERE.

Pic of the Month June 2015

So sorry for taking so long to post this, I have been dealing with some family matters concerning the health of a family member. Anyway the picture I have chosen for June's winner is this beautiful GGTB by Jean Marie.

I have a real soft spot for the GGTB, it is a very simple and clean looking mod. It's also the first GG I ever bought although I ended up trading it, something I kick myself for all the time. This picture shows how classy the GGTB is and is a worthy winner of Pic of the Month. Congrats to Jean Marie who gets a 10% discount at the GG dealer of his choice.

Remember you can post your GG pictures HERE for a chance to win.

Pic of the Month May 2015

This months winner is this picture by Aal. It represents a passion and dedication to GG and shows a mod a lot of people have long been asking for, a full brass GGTS.

I have a love hate relationship with brass. I love the look but hate how easy it tarnishes. I don't really have the proper equipment to keep my brass shiny so I tend to prefer my SS mods. So I give full respect to anyone brave enough to go the full brass route. Anyway I think this GGTS looks amazing so congrats to Aal, he wins 10% off his next GG order.

Pic of the Month April 2015

I had a tough choice to make this month. The quality of the pictures were high with awesome snaps by everyone. The return of Nudel to the forum was a nice surprise and he posted a lot of really great pictures. One in particular caught my eye and I absolutely love it. It has my two favourite vices, coffee and Golden Greeks. For that reason I have chosen the photo below as Pic of the Month.

I hope you'll agree that is a stunning shot and worthy of winning. Congrats to Nudel, he wins 10% off his next GG order.

Keep In Touch!

Social Networks

The picture above is the latest I've posted on my Instagram. I've been posting quite a bit as I find it a nice, quick way of sharing GG's with the world. Along with Pinterest I feel like I'm doing an ok job of introducing people to Golden Greek products. There must be a lot of new vapers out there looking into their next move up to a better experience and I'd love their next mod to be a GG. If you are new to Golden Greeks I'm also on Twitter, Google Plus and Facebook if you want to contact me. I'm happy to help with any GG related questions. Links are all at the top of the page so feel free to get in touch.

ESG Sales

It seems there was quite a rush with the recent sale of devices and parts at E-smokeguru. I've read a few comments on the forums and it sounds like demand outweighed supply on some items. It's good that what was for sale is still as popular as ever but I do feel a bit of sympathy for those that weren't quick enough to secure what they wanted. I'm sure Imeo is making as many parts as he can to keep up stock levels, so if you missed out this time hopefully you'll get another chance to buy soon.

Still no word on whether Fluid will be getting any parts in although it seems some buyers were able to get what they wanted from Vassilis. Hopefully Imeo gets something sorted soon for US buyers, a halt in the flow of GG parts means more people using fewer sellers which leads to more of a scramble.

Win 10% off Your Next GG Purchase

Lastly a reminder that I will be judging the Pic of the Month Competition in a few days. The winner gets 10% off their next purchase from any of the GG sellers. To participate just post a pic in the GG Pictures Thread.

Pic of the Month - January 2015

This month was a tricky one as there were lots of great pictures and some great collections posted. In the end I decided to pick this picture from long time forum member Cappy. I have been admiring Cappy's GG's and pictures for as long as I can remember, definitely one of the users responsible for making me fall in love with Golden Greeks.

Check out the buttons on those GG's, sitting alongside the newest GG family member, the GG4S. I know Cappy has a collection of GG's that most would be happy to own, a committed GG man who deserves some recognition as one of the major GG stalwarts. Well done Cappy for winning Pic of the Month, with some new GG pieces in the pipeline I hope you can put your 10% discount prize to good use.
