Pic of the Month August 2015

This months winner is a great picture featuring the three base elements to a happy life; food, drink and a vape! The photo is from 'notarobot' who obviously appreciates the finer things in life. I like the way the Austrian mountains in the distance appear in the glass of beer. The food also looks very tasty, the perfect prelude to a nice vape on that GG4S.

Video Game Vaper

In a couple of days time video game giant Konami will be releasing the latest version of Metal Gear Solid. It's called the Phantom Pain and is set to be a huge success judging by previous releases in the series.

The reason I am telling you this is because one of the new game mechanics is passing time by using an e-cigar. The inclusion of an e-cigar is a relatively small part of the game but I get a little kick out of seeing vaping being involved in such a mainstream game.

In earlier versions of the game a cigarette was used that drained the life bar over time. I'm interested to see if the e-cigar affects health. I think the in game switch to using an e-cigar is one that should be appreciated, even by a virtual character in a virtual world. Who knows, one day we may see video game characters using a GG, wouldn't that be something!

Black Forest Vapes - a cut above

A quick post to let you know of another great e-liquid company I use - Black Forest Vapes. It's a UK based e-liquid store that specialises in making it's own line of liquids. There are a number of flavours as you can see below and the best news is that they are all priced very, very reasonably.

The liquids for sale are the 'culmination of hours, days and weeks of testing, tweaking, developing and improving' to quote the website. I can personally state that the e-liquids I've tried are very nice and well worth checking out. Also worth noting is that as well as serving the UK they will ship internationally too, check the site for details.

The reason for this post is I recently placed an order and had some problems receiving it. To cut a long story short, Mike from Black Forest Vapes went above and beyond to help me, providing excellent customer service. I can't thank him enough for making sure I got my order of The Gardener, an e-liquid I really enjoy. I believe good customer experiences deserve sharing so that's what I'm doing here.

Pic of the Month July 2015

I am very late in posting July's winner for Pic of the Month. I have been ultra busy in the real world and have only just got round to selecting a winner. The quality of pictures for July was as high as ever with some excellent photos being posted. I have managed to pick my favourite which is this one.

I have chosen this as a winner for the pure bling factor. A lovely little collection of GG's in perfect condition, the combination of brass and steel looks fantastic. Pic of the Month June 2015

So sorry for taking so long to post this, I have been dealing with some family matters concerning the health of a family member. Anyway the picture I have chosen for June's winner is this beautiful GGTB by Jean Marie.

I have a real soft spot for the GGTB, it is a very simple and clean looking mod. It's also the first GG I ever bought although I ended up trading it, something I kick myself for all the time.
