ESG - back online

Good news for anyone using E-smokeguru as their main supplier, they are now back online and trading as normal. It took a little longer than expected but they are back, bigger and better with further improvements to the site on the way.

Imeo has said that he will begin shipping new Tilemahos in around 10 days to suppliers so keep checking the site for updates. There should be other spares available soon too, although I'm not 100% sure which parts are expected.

Congrats to the E-smokeguru team, I wish them every success with the new site. I know they will continue providing outstanding customer service and professionalism.

New Tilemahos and Centre Pin

One of the projects Imeo is working on at the moment is the new Tilemahos versions. These will come in different diameters so you should be able to get one to fit your mod perfectly. The sizes are 21mm, 22mm and 23mm. Along with the new sizes there is a new centre pin design. This will enable Tilemahos to be used safely on GG4S with it's hybrid connection and other similar mods. You can see the new pin below.

I think Imeo says the new centre pin is also compatible with existing Tilemahos so there's no need to buy a whole new unit if you already own Tilemahos. Check the video out for yourself.

If you haven't tried Tilemahos before I can recommend it as one of the best GG atomisers you can buy. Flavour and vape production are excellent with this little atty and it remains one of my favourites. It should be available the middle of next month so keep an eye out for it at your GG resellers site.

There is an added bonus that there are more products available so there is more choice. Rare Golden Greeks Available.

It seems Bruce at Clouds of Vapour is considering letting some of his GG's go, a thread has appeared on ECF with a link to Golden Greek Classifieds and Swaps.  For a long time Bruce collected GG's for the GG Museum and has some great pieces. If you are looking to get hold of early and rare GG's it's worth a look. It's a closed group though and for the life of me I can't figure out how you join. Maybe someone can enlighten me in the comments.

E-Smokeguru

The online store is still closed at the moment but Imeo has said it should be opening again today or tomorrow. Keep checking back and hopefully it will be open again soon for all those suffering withdrawal symptoms.

Other GG Shops

While I'm talking about GG shops you may have noticed I've changed the image slider on the home page to feature all the GG shops. It's easy to visit any of the shops by clicking on the image for your preferred shop.

What's Your Juice?

I have no shame in admitting I am a man of limited means. I don't have a lot of spare cash to play with every month so I am always on the lookout for a bargain. This is certainly true when it comes to e-juice. Currently I visit the same local shop where they have a small stand of Diamond Mist juices, 4 for £10. Some of the juices are quite nice but what I really want is the sort of stuff pictured below.

From left to right these are Vintage e-liquids, Cuttwood, Suicide Bunny and Choo Choo e-juices. I have picked these as examples because they all seem to be very popular and very well spoken of by people that have tried them. I love the packaging of the Vintage juice, something different that makes it stand out. Cuttwood have a good social media presence and a lot of fans. Suicide Bunny have some great artwork on their packaging as well as some delicious sounding flavours. Finally Choo Choo have a good reputation for excellent customer service and a good range of flavours.

I have never tried any of these juices but the way they are marketed has caught my attention and put them on my radar. If I hear good things about a company before I buy I'm more likely to consider them for my next purchase. All of these juices cost more than I'd normally spend but I feel that having a Golden Greek mod deserves some of the good stuff now and then. I will be ordering juice again in a few weeks and hope to buy something from my wish list above, I'll let you know what I think.

Latest Roundup

It's been a busy few weeks for GG and for myself, leaving me little time to visit ECF and the GG forum. Well I'm all caught up and sharing what I know, saving you the effort of reading through all the threads.

Twins

First up it seems we have a very rare case of GG twins. The following two Ithaka's appeared in the GG Pictures thread, both bearing the same serial number. One belongs to Itshak and the other to Mddally.

Nobody knows how this happened and I think it's the first time this has occured. Imeo has promised to rectify the mistake with some sort of extra engravings which is good of him.

New premises for E-smokeguru

Vassilils has shut ESG until the 17th of January to give him time to set up a new unit in Athens. It's good to see that in a country plagued with financial problems in recent times that ESG are still able to grow. The shop in Salaminas will remain open for those lucky enough to visit.

Pre-Orders

The pre-orders for Penelope's and Tilemahos were put on hold by Imeo due to problems at the machine shop. Expected release date for new constructions is around the 15th of February. There has been a lot of discussion on the new parts, all of which can be seen at the following link.

Tilemahos-22mm-23mm

As for spares, Imeo says that parts are getting made and there will be parts for all GG constructions and that the other GG sellers will have enough parts too. Brass parts may be a problem as Imeo says he has had trouble sourcing it. I get the feeling though that the way parts and products are produced will be changing and maybe the new ESG premises are part of that. We will have to wait and see.

VIR

Still no update on VIR. Imeo had said that it would be ready soon after Christmas and we are now nearly half way through January. If Imeo's prediction was right we can't be too far from a release. However, as much as I would like to see VIR available I understand the delay. VIR will be a big change in the type of product Golden Greek offers so it makes sense for Imeo to ensure he gets everything right first time.

Prices

Finally a new thread has appeared with Imeo asking for thoughts and ideas on prices. In the thread Imeo states his intention of competing with China on price. This is a tall order as China is cheaper on just about every vaping product you can buy. The quality is questionable but prices are definitely lower in the far east. It's an interesting thread and well worth checking out, hit the link below to follow developments.

I am pleased to announce that starting from now, winners of Pic of the Month will receive an actual prize. Before now the only thing I could offer was my admiration, thanks and respects. To offer a prize I have managed to get the co-operation of all the GG resellers - E-smokeguru, Fluidvaper, Bitfumo and the Golden Greek Store. They have been kind enough to give a little back to the GG community in the shape of a 10% Discount Code.

As there is now an actual prize I need to stipulate a few rules for fairness. So here they are -

1. The picture must be posted in the Pictures Thread on ECF.
2. It must be your picture, no reposting.
3. It must feature at least one Golden Greek product.
4. The code is good for 10% off your total order and must be used one month from receipt. It must be used by the winner, no transferring.
5. One code per winner.
6. There are no cash alternative prizes, it's a discount or nothing!

Tilemahos

I've had an email from the fine folks at The Golden Greek Store stating that they are now accepting pre orders for the new Tilemahos series. There will be three sizes available 21, 22 and 23mm. The finishes will be 21 -shined, 22 -matt and 23 shined. The pre orders start now and orders are expected to ship sometime around the 15th of February, so get your order in now to make sure you get your hands on the Tilemahos you want.
